The UK Credit Playbook

Privacy Notice

Version 1.0 · in force from 24 August 2026

The short version: this site collects nothing about you. The calculators run entirely inside your browser. Nothing you type into them is transmitted anywhere, and there is no server storing it. There is no sign-up form, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no third-party cookie.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for this website is John Agbey, an individual publishing independently in the United Kingdom.

Contact: privacy@ukcreditplaybook.com

There is no Data Protection Officer, because the scale of processing does not require one.

2. What this site collects

The calculators — nothing

The redress deadline checker, the stooze breakeven calculator and the statement-date planner all run as JavaScript in your own browser. The figures you enter — including the date of a finance agreement, a credit limit or a balance — are never sent to any server. They exist only in your device's memory and disappear when you close the tab. Nobody, including me, can see them.

Downloads — nothing beyond a normal web request

The spreadsheet, letter templates and one-page system are ordinary files. Downloading one requires no email address and creates no record tied to you.

Server logs — held by the host, briefly

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser type — for the purpose of delivering the page and protecting the service from attack. That processing is Cloudflare's, under its own terms. I do not have access to individual visitor records and do not attempt to identify anyone.

Analytics — aggregate only, if enabled

If website analytics are running, they are Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track individuals across sites. It reports totals — how many people viewed a page — and nothing that identifies you. This is why the site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

3. Cookies

This site sets no cookies. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party embeds. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from attack; that is exempt from consent requirements under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

4. The 12-Month Protocol email course

This is not yet open, and no email addresses are being collected. When it does open, this notice will be updated first, and this section will name the email provider used and the exact retention period before a single address is taken.

The commitments already made, which will not change:

5. Your rights under UK GDPR

Where any personal data about you is processed, you have the right to:

RightWhat it means
AccessAsk for a copy of the personal data held about you
RectificationHave inaccurate data corrected
ErasureAsk for your data to be deleted
RestrictionAsk that processing be paused while a dispute is resolved
ObjectionObject to processing, including direct marketing at any time
PortabilityReceive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
Withdraw consentWithdraw at any time, as easily as it was given, without giving a reason

To exercise any of these, email privacy@ukcreditplaybook.com. I will respond within one month, free of charge.

6. Complaining

If you are unhappy with how your data has been handled, please tell me first so I can fix it. You also have the right to complain directly to the UK regulator at any time:

Information Commissioner's Office · ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint · 0303 123 1113

7. Data outside the UK

Cloudflare is a US-headquartered company operating a global network, so technical request data may be processed outside the UK under the safeguards in Cloudflare's own data processing terms. If and when an email provider is added, this section will name it and state where it processes data.

8. Children

This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone knowingly.

9. Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the version number and date at the top change with it, and a dated copy of the previous version is kept. Nothing that changes how your data is used will be applied retrospectively.

Version 1.0 · 24 August 2026. Previous versions: none, this is the first.
